Migrating From Local Hosting or Self Hosting

This section is for you if you use:

• The FoundryVTT app
• Run Foundry on your personal computer
• Have previously hosted Foundry on Oracle Cloud/AWS/etc. and are looking for a managed provider.

Folder Locations and Structures

Note: FoundryVTT is under active development and the below information may be out of date, check the FoundryVTT User Data Guide for the latest information.

First thing we need to do is find your game data. It should be in one of the locations below:
